Counselling services

It is widely recognised that CBT used in organisations has succeeded in helping employees cope with work-related stress and other issues impacting their ability to do their jobs. CBT focuses on the way we think about ourselves and the world around us and how our own actions affect our thoughts and feelings. Therapy sessions concentrate on current situations rather than past issues and may help conditions such as depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety.
All of our CBT Counsellors are members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold the level 5 certificate in CBT counselling. The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) is a registered charity working towards the promotion and regulation of counselling and psychotherapy both for the profession and the public benefit.
BACP has a strong public commitment to high practice standards and public protection with all members undergoing a vetting procedure to ensure they hold appropriate qualifications and training.
Our CBT Therapists are available for locations across the UK to come on site or, if preferred, off
site clinic facilities are also available. Premiere can arrange the entire process from managing the
referral and appointment with the employee to arranging on-going treatment sessions. The
Therapist's initial assessment findings and recommendations are submitted to the client within 48
hours of the appointment, with feedback for the continued duration of the sessions and a final
report to the employer. Whilst all counselling and CBT sessions are entirely confidential, the client
will receive updates on progress and any work-related issues if the employee has consented for
relevant action to be taken by their employer.
The research on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy has been extensive and is an effective form of
counselling, particularly for the following areas of:-
